14th February 2012 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 20-25 knotts Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: cold Weather: windy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Well i went down around 3 after seeing Al's post there there was wind at 2. When i arrived there was around 8 knotts which deffinately isn't enough no matter how optimistic you are. So i went round Al's for a cup of tea for an hour and on leaving thought i'd check it out one last time. There was just about enough so being super keen i thought i'd try it out. At first there wasn't enough but after 10 minutes in it picked up perfectly and had some great blasting up and down with a few ramps to jump. This lasted about 30min and then the wind got even stonger and i could barely hold my 5.5. But an awesome session very stoked. |
